Hi, I’m Amber, writer, mother, and proud little blue dot in the heart of Texas.
I created Little Blue Texans because I was tired of feeling like empathy was something to apologize for. Tired of watching compassion get twisted into a weakness. Tired of pretending I didn’t care deeply about how we treat each other, even when it’s uncomfortable or unpopular.
I believe in the simple idea that everyone deserves dignity, safety, and a voice, no matter where they were born, who they love, or what they believe.
Here, I share stories, reflections, and resources for anyone who’s ever felt alone in their beliefs, like I have. If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re the only one who thinks kindness matters more than winning an argument, you’re in the right place.
Outside of this project, you’ll usually find me with my family, singing to the radio, or working on creative projects, and supporting small businesses with their bookkeeping at ad4bal.com.
If you’d like to share your story or connect, you’re always welcome to reach out.
