We’ve all been there. You show up to vote, and there are names on the ballot you’ve never seen or heard of. That ends now. I’m building a comprehensive, county-level list of every Democrat running for office in 2026, so none of us walk into the booth uninformed again.

If you’re new here… hi, I’m Amber! I’m a Democrat in a deep-red county in Texas, proudly serving as a Democratic precinct chair. I’m dedicating my time to helping the Texas Democratic Party hold Republicans accountable. I’m tired of the lies. I’m tired of losing rights. I’m tired of the Republican echo chamber pretending everyone agrees with them. We don’t. I’m standing up, and I’m asking you to stand up too.

Check Your Voter Registration

Before we start, let’s check your registration status to vote in Texas. Even if you think you’re registered, it’s always a good idea to make sure your registration is active and current.

Note: Print out the application and mail it to the voter registrar in your county of residence, once it is completed. The County Voter Registrar’s address can be found at the top of the online outputted voter registration application once you have submitted your information from the fill-in-the blanks screen. You are not registered until you have filled out the online application, printed it, and mailed it to your local County Voter Registrar.

I know—we all get bombarded with fundraising pleas. But hear me out: if you want to turn your state blue, the very first place your dollars make the biggest difference is at the county level.

Your local Democratic Party is the backbone of organizing! We’re registering voters, knocking on doors, showing up at community events, and keeping the lights on so we can keep fighting. When you give here first, you actually see the impact in your own backyard.

So before you support your favorite candidate, consider fueling the local work that makes their campaigns possible. Whether it’s $1, $5, $10, $20+, every bit keeps us moving forward. We appreciate you, and we’ll put it to work where it matters most.
